Torro Rosso F1 winning team

London based creative agency, Realise Creative, were commissioned by Red Bull‘s Toro Rosso Formula 1 team to create a new campaign for the 2010 season,, that would help elevate their new status as a winning F1. The previous campaigns have always featured the team as the young, dark and underground Italian street racers – but Red Bull felt it was time to show how they are now a leading team, in the world’s most technologically advanced sport.

“We wanted the car to be on a track, without edges, without limits, in an almost spiritual environment, that still looks believable and gritty. Working with photographer David Clerihew, who brought his unique mix of sports and style photography, and the creative retouchers at Tapestry, we were able to create 100% of what the client wanted. The work that Tapestry did was incredible. Because of the high profile nature of F1, the access to the car and drivers is limited, which meant that we would have to create the environments from scratch. The car was originally shot in a garage at Jerez, in an over night shoot and it now sits on an open road track, engulfed in light.”
