Forming part of the worldwide “Write the Future” campaign for Nike these stylised images were digitally crafted in Photoshop from photographic originals. This type of work would normally be achieved using  GGI techniques but due to time constraints, injuries and the dropping of key players for World Cup duty conventional methods had to be used. The images were used on the Nike football website, in-store at Nike Town retail locations and on digital posters. “Write the Future” includes a 3 minute film directed by Alejandro G Inarritu, of Babel and 21 Grams fame and used Facebook, YouTube and China’s QQ to initially roll out the campaign.
