Tapestry TV has delivered the second Total Greek Yoghurt advert to TV,  with the new set of characters, Cow, Zebra and Spoonbill created by Creative Orchestra. The animation was by award winning animation studio, Animalada.

Tapestry helped organise Clearcast approval, clock, putting together sound and vison and playout to the Broadcast channels.

This summer, for the first time, Total Greek Yoghurt is advertising on TV, introducing a new set of characters, Cow, Zebra and Spoonbill. Creative Orchestra, one of London’s hottest new ad agencies, have created a highly memorable and engaging 30 second commercial which uses a classic Noel Coward track, Any Little Fish. It’s one of those tracks you just can’t help singing! They have also produced a 10 second sponsorship bumper for GMTV ’1-minute’ TV.

Tapestry helped organise Clearcast approval, clock, putting together sound and vison and playout to the Broadcast channels.

The animation was by award winning animation studio, Animalada. Any Little Fish was re-recorded and arranged by composer Hayden Parsey using traditional jazz musicians.

The singing and voice over was by Duncan Wisbey who was discovered on YouTube after posting up various Noel Coward spoofs of Rehab and Firestarter. Further commercials are in the pipeline.

Tapestry TV has recently been working with the renowned photographer David Clerihew on a Guinness Commercial. Guinness are proud sponsors of Leinster Rugby and the beautifully shot footage shows the thought process of a player as he lines up a conversion.  The film was shot on a Red camera and Tamsie Thomas worked on Edit, Colour Grade and Flashback effects.

Tapestry TV was contacted by the well known Italian photography duo Coppi Barbieri to help with some intricate roto and paint work on a video they had made for The New York Times. The video entitled “Nude” is to coincide with the T Womens Fashion Summer 2010 issue, the theme of which is undone beauty. To quote the New York Times “As you’ll see, model Adela Capova comes undone beautifully”.

The whole seafood industry has been intrigued and particularly Waitrose who are the main retailer for seafoodandeatit.

We saw this news story on GMTV and thought how could this quirk of nature have been undiscovered for so long. It set our guys thinking about how they could fool the world and produce a video that was just as convincing as that news story.

Here’s how they would do it.

First the video would need to be captured of Mario placing a real crab onto the ground at which point our compositing experts would have to remove the crab from shot and replace the floor underneath creating a blank canvas to position a fake cgi crab.

Next, the cleaned up video would need to be camera tracked in PF TRack to generate the 3d camera track data that when placed in the cgi environment would replicate the real life setup.

Once the Track data had been imported then a cgi crab would have to be created that could be made to walk forward.
Using Cinema4d this cgi crab could be rigged and textured ready for its walk sequence.

Now to make the crab walk and follow the camera move which had already been captured by the tracking data. Then to finally render out an animated cgi sequence to composite into the cleaned up background movie. Once in place the final file would be graded and sound effects added.

The final movie would finish up like this – so good it could be real.

This helicopter crash sequence was produced from concept and was part of a creative pitch executed by our experienced in-house CGI and digital retouching team.

Dharavi is an empoverished  district occupying an area of prime real estate in Mumbai. The city authorities plan to clear the slums as part of a redevelopment programme that involves global companies in the creation of new middle class residential and commercial areas. But this is happening without the consent or consultation of the 80,000 households of people who live and work there.

Tapestry TV worked on eight interview pieces providing editing, subtitles, and colour grading.
